WHAT MARKETS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for well crafted fiction that hits the ground running. It should have a very interesting beginning
hook and the reader should know what kind of story they are getting into within the first 5 paragraphs. That
means we like to see fiction that leads with conflict and strong characters. We like quest/denial middles, and
strong climax endings that leave the reader begging for more.
For nonfiction we are looking for strong how-to and self help kind of books that the reader can use in everyday
life. Nonfiction books should be written for the common person on the street with a minmum of expert lingo. We
like to see hands-on books where the reader can put the book on the screen and DO what your writing about.
These books should be tightly written, follow a natural sequence and be user friendly.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK
Send a query letter first via e-mail with general impressions of your work, what it is (Science fiction book of
300,00 words, etc.) if you have been published before and where. If the work is finished and in computer files
format. Keep it under two pages. Unsolicited attached files will be dumped - unread. We answer all e-mails fast
and we'll tell you to send more or not based on your query and our market needs.
STEP TWO
If we are interested in your manuscript we'll ask you to send a sample chapter and a brief overview of the book.
All books must be submitted in electronic format by that we mean in Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, or HTML
format.
STEP THREE
If we like what we see, you'll be asked to send the entire manuscript via Internet attached file. Please allow 2 to
3 weeks for a reply. Please note that this entire process up to this point can take less than a week. All
manuscripts must be complete BEFORE you write your query letter. E-publishing is VERY fast.
STEP FOUR
If your manuscript is accepted. A number of things will happen in rapid fire. We will call you and discuss plans
for you and your manuscript. 1. You will be sent a one year publishing contract. 2. A writer's storefront web site
will be set up for you and you will be required to send the following things to us. A. Your writer's bio. B. A
picture of yourself. C. Any jacket covers of other books you have had published, their publishing date and the
publisher. D. Any art you would like us to use on your site. Your storefront web site will start to go up at once.
STEP FIVE
While we are crafting your web site, your manuscript will be sent to our computer programmer for formatting,
copyright protection features and password protection. Once the book programming and web site is done, you
will have a grand opening and your site will be open for business. This process usually takes 2 to 4 weeks.
COPYRIGHTS
Integrity Tech Publishing allows all writers to keep their copyrights. We publish e-books here in a writer's
co-op operation. If a writer finds a nonelectronic market to sell their book to, we require a written notice and
that book will be removed from the writer's site or the writer can negotiate with the nonelectronic market to
keep the book with us while they wait out the months or years it takes for the book to come to print. The writer
will not receive our formatted copy back, we will just unlist the book. We do however reserve the right to
replace already sold copies of the book to clients that bought it from us in the past. We offer a lifetime warranty
on all our books. Our books NEVER go out of print and will be listed with us for as long as both of us are
agreeable. For books we publish we require exclusive rights on those e-books. If we find the same e-book
listed elsewhere on the Internet we consider that a breach of contract. However, a writer can list other e-books
with other e-publishers, but not the same e-books listed with us.
REPRINTS AND SERIALIZATIONS
We will do reprints of previously published out-of-print books if the writer is strong enough to support those
sales. However the writer must provide proof that they have all rights back on these books before we agree to
e-publish them. We will not accept a writer who is offering reprints only. Sales on reprinted books have been
disappointing. We do accept serializations based on out-of print books and will happily reprint the lead-in books
in these serializations, provided the writers copyrights are returned to them. We do not do electronic scanning
transfer work for out-of-print books. Hewett Packard and others offer excellent text to computer transfer
programs. Writer's need to have their work in electronic format before they query. We have a good track record
with serializations and any writer that can do two or more novels a year in a series will make good paychecks
here.
HOW DO READERS GET MY E-BOOKS?
Once your storefront is open and your grand opening is underway. A prospective book buyer can shop at your
store or at Integrity Tech Publishing. They will be able to read samples from your books, view the cover (which
we design) and order your book with either a check or money order or with a credit card. We have an instant
download program where a reader can click on a pay button and enter their credit card numbers at a secure
server. Once the card numbers clear they are taken to a secure page where they can read download directions,
get their password and download the e-book instantly. We use Pay Pal as our credit card servers and we also
install shopping carts so that readers can download a basket full if they want. As a bonus Pay Pal currently
serves 37 countires and we have many overseas buyers. We offer the reader two format of getting e-books, they
can download them instantly online from anywhere in the world, or they can get them on disk - soon we will
convert to CD's instead of disks only in the US and Canada. Integrity Tech Publishing stands behind everything
it sells and we warranty our books a lifetime. If customers lose their instant download e-books, their computer
crashes, or their house burns we replace the e-books for free. For those that buy them on disk we replace them
for postage only.
WHAT IS THE PAY?
Integrity Tech Publishing does not give advances. Once we set a price on your book (Usually between $10.00
and $25.00), you will receive 50% of the cover price sales for each book sold. The writer's 50% is free and clear
of any and all fees. After the end of each month, you will receive a Publishing Statement which lists the names,
addresses (when available), e-mail addresses for each client who bought your e-book and what e-books they
bought. A check will be attached to this statement and sent out to the writer snail mail. For out of country
writer's the monthly checks will be sent via Pay Pal. Taxes are the responsibility of the writer and we issue
1099's after the first of the year for any writer that made over $600.00 in a year...as required by law. In the
month of December we issue Publishing Statements and checks around the 18th of the month so that writer's
can have a little extra spending cash for the holidays. After December 31 we issue a end of the year Publishing
Statement, a check for sales made between the 18 and the end of the month, and stats on books sales and other
things for that entire year.
BONUSES
Your storefront web site is a bonus and will come with many items that are not really needed to sell books. But
we feel that the closer the reader can get to the writer, the more sales they will make. We have not been wrong.
Our writer's storefronts come with things like Guest books, promotional banner pages, appearance pages, and a
professional e-mail address where fans can e-mail the writer. These professional e-mail addresses are filtered so
that no spam comes through them and only fan mail and business mail are forwarded. Writer's are also allowed
to sell other things on their site that are writing related, like auctioning off galleys, editorial services, out-of-print
books, self published books and so on. Percentages we take on these things are negotiated separately for each
writer. The size of the storefront web site will depend on the need and popularity of the writer. Currently our
professional writer storefront sites run from 4 to 60 pages. Writers are encouraged to write monthly fan
newsletters from their fan sales list and we have a successful format for them follow if they wish.
OTHER MONEY MAKING PROGRAMS FOR WRITERS
We are very pro-writer here. The idea is to prevent writers from starving while they do their creative work.
Many "best selling" writers live well below the poverty line. So we offer a number of programs to put more
money in the their pockets.
WRITERS CO-OP
Accepted writers may decide to join our writer's Co-Op program. What this includes is taking a promotional
package with you when you do a public event, like a convention, a conference, a fair or mall show or book
signing. Promotional packages must be ordered in advance from us. This package may include: table signs, free
book chapter samples on diskettes (CD's coming soon) from all our writers, flyers, brochures, book markers,
and business cards. All the writer need do is lay these materials down at the hand-out or freebie table and pick
them up after the event is over (we haven't had any left yet but it's possible). If the writer has taken a dealer's
table they may opt to sell other writer's online books on disk (or CD) as well as their own. These e-books must
be ordered in advance. They are jacketed and shrink wrapped. If the attending writer sells other writer's
e-books they take a percentage and send the rest back to us. Writer's that opt's not to join will not be promoted
by other writers in turn but only by the company.
AFFILIATE PROGRAMS
Right now since we are small, we offer a writer recruiting program and in the works is teaching help program. If
an accepted writers wishes details on these program they can e-mail us. But most our writers know about these
up front.
PROGRAMMED PUBLIC EVENT APPEARANCES
We offer our writer's the option to allow us to schedule public appearances at events. If the writer wishes to join
this program we send them a questionnaire so their personal needs and requirements are on file. We then
schedule them to appear at things like science fiction and fantasy conventions, Romance conferences, signings
and so on. We do nearly all the dirty work here, mail out a press kits, handle programming event write ups and
do press releases. We check closely with writers before we agree to anything. The writer is then sent a contract
by the convention and if they don't offer one we do. Getting everything down on paper is important to us and to
the comfort and performance of our writers. Since we started this program it has been met with huge success.
