Sharon Green in association with the Goth Corporation is pleased to announce the release of a new collectors' edition book. Finally, here's the sequel you've been waiting for!
The new hard back book will include the reprint of Lady Blade, Lord Fighter, Book 1: The Silver Bracers , and the never-before published Lady Blade, Lord Fighter, Book 2: Argent Swords , both books will be printed together in one hardbound volume. Lady Blade, Lord Fighter, Book 1: The Silver Bracers Duke Rilfe sent his uncontrollable, strong willed daughter, Sofaltis, off to live with her aunt as a child so Solaltis might learn the proper behavior befitting a duke's daughter. Instead of learning gentle courtly ways, the girl learns weapons use and then joins a blade company called the Silver Gleaming. She becomes so good with a blade that she's offer a place in a fist, which is a group of five fighters who fights so well together that they're better as a team then they are individually. Along with her fistmates, "Softy" is much more at home in a tavern duel than she ever was in the family castle. One day, without prior warning, her father the duke sends for her. Her brother is dead, and the duke has sent word for her to come home. When she gets home, she discovers that her father, knowing nothing about her being a blade, has arranged a marriage for her. The chosen man is the fourth son of another duke, but the two nobles and Kylin, the man chosen to marry Softy, have a worry they don't share with the prospective bride. The three men are convinced that duke Rilfe's eldest son was murdered so that someone else might step in and marry the duke's eldest daughter and thereby become Rilfe's heir. For that reason they decide that Kylin, who happens to be a king's fighter, will pretend to be...less masculine, so to speak, in order to fool whoever the enemy is. Needless to say, more sparks fly when Softy is told about the marriage and then meets the "man" she's expected to marry. Softy flatly refuses to go through with the marriage, and then she is kidnapped by the enemy - the men they were trying to fool. Kylin drops the act and goes after her, finds her after she escapes from the enemy, and then the two "get to know each other." Kylin who was resigned to marrying a "quiet" girl, has found sudden and intense interest in this female blade and really wants to go through with the wedding. Softy, however, has become to the conclusion that Kylin really is working for the enemy and so she fights against any kind of interest in him. Their situation becomes even more involved before the end of the book, when Softy learns that Kylin isn't one of the enemy. But learning the doesn't help Softy, and she takes what she considers her only way out. Lady Blade, Lord Fighter, Book 2: Argent Swords In The Argent Swords , Softy sets out on what she thinks is a quest of her own, and quickly becomes embroiled in another corner of the Hidden War. Kylin, following after Softy, is also dragged in, as are Softy's Fistmates. There's trouble in the Eastern mountains, and even the mountain fighters aren't able to make headway against it - until Softy and Kylin are with them. Temporarily out of stock.
